The Soil Association is the UK's leading
campaigning and certification organisation for organic food
and farming. Whether you are new to the Soil Association

The British Society of Plant Breeders whose
members include all the major private and public sector
plant breeders in the UK. The Society represents the industry
as a whole on technical, regulatory and intellectual property
matters. Members have interests across a wide range of crops.
Community Plant Variety Office. This organisation
is for the protection of plant variety rights that has been
established by Community legislation. The system allows
intellectual property rights, valid throughout the EU, to
be granted for plant varieties. It implements and applies
this scheme

Affairs website is enormous. It lists details of all schemes
and includes a library of papers on a wide range of issues.
The National Institute of Agricultural Botany
is an independent organisation based in Cambridge UK and
working in the fields of food, farming, environment and
research.
