Church of Bures is a seed production company, which was established over 100 years ago, supplying seed to seed companies in the UK, Europe and all over the world. We also sell to gardeners, growers, farmers, landscape contractors etc.

Game cover continues be an important part of our business. Dwarf Sorghum has become increasingly popular and is considered by many as a more suitable alternative to the Giant Sorghum. It isn't as tall, is more robust and leafier. Maize is still our best seller, combined with Millet it is a very effective cover and feed crop.

Kale is available with a flea beetle dressing called Carbosulfan and this year we will be holding a limited stock of treated seed which will be available on a first come first served basis.

We are one of the few independent merchants who mix their own agricultural and amenity grasses on site and sale of these continues to increase every year.

As a seed production company our farmer growers are vitally important to us and we would like to once again thank all of them for their continued support in their production healthy crops as well as everyone who continues to support us.

Following the retirement of previous generations of family Directors, fourth generation descendant Robert Church (Managing Director) is now running the company with Kit Motion.(Director) and Geoff Lakin as a Seed Consultant.
